Customer Harassment Policy

Thank you very much for your continued support of Asahi Golf.

We believe that creating a workplace where every employee can work in good physical and mental health, with peace of mind and safety, is essential to providing our customers with higher-quality services.

In accordance with the guidelines of Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the revised Act on Comprehensive Promotion of Labor Policies, effective October 2026, we have established the following basic policy to protect our employees from customer harassment (hereinafter, “customer harassment”).

Definition of Customer Harassment

We will respond sincerely to customers’ requests and opinions. However, we will take a firm stance against conduct, statements, or demands that exceed what is considered reasonable by social standards, including but not limited to the following examples.

  • Intimidating behavior, shouting, abusive language, insults, or remarks that deny a person’s character.
  • Excessive or unreasonable demands for monetary compensation or apologies.
  • Excessive repetition of the same request or complaint.
  • Unreasonably prolonged telephone calls.
  • Defamation on social media or the internet, or disclosure of employees’ personal information.
  • Stalking, ambushing, assaulting, or threatening employees.
  • Demanding responses outside reasonable business hours.
  • Requests for services that are inappropriate by social standards.
  • Any conduct that we determine to constitute customer harassment.

Our Response to Customer Harassment

Organizational Response

  • We will not leave frontline employees to deal with these issues alone. Our customer-harassment consultation desk will lead the response across the entire organization.

Suspension of Services

  • If we determine that an act constitutes customer harassment, we may refuse or discontinue the provision of services or business transactions.

Cooperation with External Organizations

  • For malicious cases or criminal acts, such as threats, assault, or obstruction of business, we will work with legal professionals and other experts, including filing a police report, and take strict legal action.

Development of a Customer Harassment Response Framework

  • Establishing and maintaining procedures and manuals for responding to customer harassment.
  • Strengthening cooperation with external specialist organizations, including the police and attorneys.
  • Prioritizing the care of employees who have experienced customer harassment and responding appropriately.
  • Providing a consultation desk that employees can use with confidence.

Through this policy, we will protect a healthy and comfortable working environment for our employees while striving to provide better services to our customers.
